Lever Closer Pusher Mechanisms, the Mechanisim that pushes the panel to the wall.
HEAVY duty option available (for use with panels 19' and taller. The main difference between standard and HD model: steel wheels on the inside instead of nylon & a reinforcement bar on the bottom of unit.
HD option notes: On tall LC panels, there is a conduit that runs up the vertical edge of the panel (concealed by the LC) with trolleys attached to it that run in small 12" sections of type 71 track. When the pusher is extended, it forces the conduit & trolleys through the track upward and pushes the top of the LC out at the same time. Without this mechanism, the LC pusher is not strong enough to overcome the friction 20' or more in the air and will leave a gap at the top of the panel at the wall.
When this conduit mechanism is used, a stronger pusher mech is required. The stronger mech has reinforcement welds and steel trolleys in lieu of nylon trolleys. This stronger pusher is used when the panel height is in excess of 19'. Yes a standard duty pusher mech will work- its the same size. However, it will likely wear quicker or break sooner than the HD model.
