Hufcor Paired-Panel Socket Repair

A common part to replace on a Hufcor paired-panel operable wall is the socket and/or roll pin between panels. When these sockets, sometimes called couplers or cogs, are engaged with each other it allows both the panels’ seals to be set at the same time when operating only the one on the trail edge of the trail panel. Sockets can get damaged when one seal of a pair is extended and the other is not and then the panels are forced into position. The use of movable partitions within museums and art galleries can create small groupings and arrange artworks thematically creating optimal flexibility.
